Dr. Brent Stewart has been away since last October on a number of field expeditions in the sub-Antarctic and Antarctic (penguin and seal research), on several islands off Southern California (seal and sea lion research), the United Arab Emirates (penguin research), and in the Seychelles (whale shark research), accompanied by TEC Flag #84. On his way south to the Antarctic Brent fortuitously crossed paths at zero dark thirty in the Admirals Club lounge in the Miami Airport with TEC Fellow Jack Grove (Florida Chapter) who was heading towards Madagascar.
